1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that the website stores on your device in order to work properly, remember your preferences and measure how it is used. Alongside cookies we use similar technologies — tracking pixels and identifiers stored locally in the browser.
The operator of the mastech.md website is "MASTECH Media" S.R.L., IDNO 1025600034254, e-mail office@mastech.com. Details on the processing of personal data are set out in the Privacy Policy.

The website platform's internal statistics work without cookies.
The complete and current list of cookies, with the provider and lifetime of each, is available in the banner settings panel, accessible at any time via the "Cookie settings" button. The panel is the single source of truth; this policy describes the categories and rules.

3. How we obtain consent
3.1. Necessary cookies are set without consent, as the website cannot work without them.
3.2. Analytics and marketing tools are not initialised and do not send data until you make your choice in the banner shown on your first visit.
3.3. The banner offers equally visible options: accept all, reject all and configure by category. In the configuration panel, the switches for categories requiring consent are off by default.
3.4. You can accept categories separately. If you accept analytics cookies only, marketing tools remain disabled.
3.5. Your choice applies on all pages of the website and is remembered for later visits until you change it.
3.6. Refusing analytics and marketing cookies does not restrict access to the website's content and does not prevent you from sending a request.
3.7. The public description of the categories of data collected through cookies and of the procedure for giving and withdrawing consent is provided in accordance with Article 10(2) of Law No. 284/2004.
3.8. If you have accepted marketing cookies and submit the form on the website, some of your contact details are converted in the browser into an encrypted code (SHA-256 hash) and sent: to Google Ads — the e-mail address and phone number; to Meta — the e-mail address, phone number and name. The platforms use the codes to determine whether the request was preceded by one of our ads. The message and the company name are not transmitted. Without consent to marketing cookies, form data is not transmitted. Details — clause 2 of the Privacy Policy.
4. How to manage your preferences
  • Through the banner — at any time, via the "Cookie settings" button. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it (Article 7(3) of Law No. 195/2024).
  • In your browser — you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how the website works.
  • In providers' settings — advertising preferences can be managed in your Google and Meta accounts.
Deleting cookies in your browser also deletes your saved choice, so the banner will be shown again.

5. International transfers
Providers of analytics and marketing tools process data on servers outside the Republic of Moldova, including in the United States of America. Transfers are carried out in accordance with Articles 44–49 of Law No. 195/2024. Details — clause 5 of the Privacy Policy.

6. Updates
This policy is updated whenever the tools used on the website change. The current version and the date of the last update are shown at the top of the document.
